View from Slowakia across Dunaj (Danube) river to Hungary. The bridge (called Erzsébet híd / Elisabeth bridge) connects the Slovak border town of Komárom (Komarn in German, Révkomárom in Hungarian) with its Hungarian twin city of Komárno. The old town of the divided city is in the Slovak part of the city, however even there most of the inhabitants speak Hungarian and all signs are bilingual. Komárno and Komárom each have a train station. The Hungarian station is on the main Budapest-Vienna railway line, the Slovak one is just on a minor line between Nové Zámky/Érsekújvár and Dunaszerdahely/Dunajská Streda.
